The DC Family Education Partnership, a coalition of local non-profit organizations and government agencies, will host the annual DC Family Education Expo and Conference this fall.  In previous years, this event would not have been possible without the organizations and volunteers who have donated time, resources and funding.

The DC Family Education Expo's Mission is to:

• Help parents recognize the importance of their involvement in the education process of their children.
• Strengthen partnerships among community based organizations and state and local agencies in order to serve families more effectively.
• Develop a network of providers that work in cooperation to provide a continuum of services and support to families in the District of Columbia
• Build the DC Family Education Expo into an annual event that will help all students reach for success, with their parents and communities push for higher expectations, achievement and pursuit to learning, for a lifetime.
