The DC Family Education Partnership, a collaborative of local education organizations, will host the 2010 DC Family Education Expo for students of all ages in the District of Columbia and their families.

The Goal of the DC Family Education Expo:

The goal of the DC Family Education Expo is to offer parents and adult learners the opportunity to learn and receive information about the educational resources and tools that will help them or their child to be successful in school.  Workshop sessions, exhibits, and hands-on learning activities are available to participants.  

To ensure that everyone has equal opportunity to be engaged as an active participant, translation and interpretation services are offered to parents who speak limited English.  By working and learning together, parents and professionals build partnerships and share responsibility in the decisions that affect families and communities.
